In this article, I’ll share my top tips for selecting a great large pot for an olive tree along with specific product recommendations based on budgets and needs. Read on for everything you need to know to pick the perfect vessel!

Factors To Consider When Choosing A Pot

Here are the key factors I evaluate when shopping for olive tree pots

Size – The pot must be large enough to accommodate the tree’s root system. Olives need 10-15 gallons of space for every foot of their height. Go bigger for multi-trunk varieties.

Drainage – Excellent drainage holes are essential to prevent waterlogged soil Pick pots with multiple drainage openings,

Weight – Olive trees get heavy! Make sure the pot and material can handle the load, especially for larger plants.

Material – Clay, concrete and wood offer attractive, durable options suitable for the elements.

Style – Match the pot’s style to your taste and space. Consider glazed vs natural finishes and classic vs modern shapes.

When I had time after a few days, I pruned the plant and got rid of all the dead leaves and leaves with black spots about the size of a nickel or quarter. The plant eventually revived and is doing well. It was a disappointment to receive but turned out OK. Thanks you for your attention to me and this situation.

I reported that it came very dehydrated with two yellow leaves and the rest droopy leaves. I watered from the bottom and it perked up. and set it next to other plants so it has plant friends. Removed the yellow leaves. There is a new bloom, very exciting, shows it is happy here. However, although there is a new bloom three of the mature leaves are yellowing. Not sure what this means.

It’s been great having Theresa teach me what I need to know as a new plant owner. One piece of advice, some additional communication with your plants about pieces included and what their function is. I got angry and didn’t know where one piece of paper with some extra information would have solved all my problems. Again, Theresa is top notch and hugely helpful setting me up.

I bought a Money Tree and a Bird’s Nest Fern for myself in Virginia at the same time that I bought Year of the Dragon Money Trees for my kids in Colorado and Alabama. Both of their plants arrived in two days in great condition. My plants spent nine days in transit in the winter. My money tree was essentially dead on arrival. When I called customer service, a replacement was sent right away. It arrived in great shape and is already doing well. My bird’s nest fern had obvious cold damage on about half the plant but wasn’t obviously dead. Customer service suggested that I cut back the damaged leaves. My plant is still barely alive, but I don’t think it will ever get better, and the price of an L doesn’t match my expectations. While I continue to try to get my first birds nest fern to grow again, I was able to buy a replacement at a good local greenhouse.

There was a bad package of moisture sticks I got, so I had to throw them away and order new ones. I love all three of my plants, though. I e mailed you people to ask if there were problems with them and I got no response. A little disappointing since I am a huge fan of Leon & George. It would have been nice to have heard from someone in the company. Thanks for your time, Linda Sjoberg.

My sweet girlfriends sent me a large philodendron as a gift to commemorate a difficult day. It came carefully packaged with a beautiful pot and display, and the plant itself was lush and healthy. I had never heard of Leon and George, but I will definitely be back to gift (to others and probably to myself) in the future. ).

Thanks to my wife, I now have a braided money tree to replace the one she gave me seven years ago. What a great idea! When the package arrived, I was impressed with the care that went into it, the amount of information it contained, and the follow-up. I love the brand and thoughtfulness that you put into the plants and caregivers of those plants. Well done.

Shipping of my order was delayed due to cold weather. I appreciated the extra care and communication to make sure plant arrived in perfect condition. My recipient LOVED the plant, said it was absolutely beautiful. It was a gift to brighten her world since her husband was battling cancer. He actually passed away while plant was en route. Beats flowers any day! She was very touched and is excited to nurture her pothos. So thank you all! Sarah.

We’re big Leon fans.

I ordered a medium sized olive tree. It is planted a bit crooked in the pot so it leans to one side. The plant still doesn’t look like it needs to be watered, so I hope it stays healthy. I had ordered an olive tree from another dealer previously and it had insect issues. So far so good.
